See to believe. These handmade ring designs have very strong colour themes. The ring bands have very distinct colours throughout, not the usual, ubiquitous nickel, brass and so on.

Beads of different colours are chosen to match the ring band colour to project different moods and impacts.

We have designed these hand made rings for you to express yourself through your favorite colors and to match your clothing.

Problems

We use to craft handmade ring designs that are quite widely available.

We used ring bands manufactured for ring designers and crafters like us. Those ring bands are made in nickel, brass and a few other materials and they are supposed to be size adjustable - you know, one size fits all.

Crafters like us will attach beads to these ready made bands and for some, we are supposed to glue beads on them.

We made do with these ready ring bands as they are the only ones available and it seems like everyone is using them.

But after some time the drawbacks of using such ring bands surfaced one after another. It really got to our nerves and became unbearable;

•     There really isn't such a thing as a one size fit all ring band, is there? For bigger and smaller ring sizes, the bands are bent so out of shape to fit fingers, they are not comfortable to wear, as you can probably imagine.
   
•     The materials used are not very good. Most of them don't last long. They'll tarnish or look 'aged' soon enough.
   
•     Gluing beads onto rings is really not a good idea. Rings bump into stuff and get in contact with water more often. Beads will go missing gradually and sometimes in embarrassing ways.

At the same time, we were pursuing a new design concept for handmade rings - color themed rings for our customers to express themselves through their favorite colors or to match the color of their outfit. These objectives were not satisfactorily met through the colors of beads alone.

Those were some frustrating times for us.

 

Problems... Solved!

To make a long story short. We really thought out of the box with this one and found the solutions to all those problems mentioned. The solutions come in the form of the color themed handmade rings you see on this page. Click through the links to see more of them.

• We craft the ring bands ourselves and we make rings of size 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. No more one size fits all. It is 15 ring sizes to fit 15 finger sizes.
   
• The material we use is enamel plating. This enamel plating is very tough. Its ability to withstand chemical abuse is outstanding and will hardly tarnish or 'age' over time and we don't see any signs of wear and tear through normal wear over a long period.
   
• We don't use glue to attach beads. Beads on Agalil handmade rings are attached securely by threading through them. The beads are not going anywhere.
   
• Expression of color through our handmade rings is effective as the colour is not just found on the beads but on the band as well. Your favorite color runs throughout the handmade ring.
